During the sessions at Ready to Read your child is in the care of the staff. Prior to and after your child’s lesson, the parent or carer is responsible for the supervision of their child.
On enrolment a parental consent form should be completed. This provides us with information re medical needs, emergency phone numbers and information regarding the collection of your child.
Payment of fees is required by the commencement of each term. Families who do not pay fees in advance will not be guaranteed a place. Fees are not refundable due to absence or illness except under exceptional circumstances when fees may be refunded at the discretion of the principals.
A make up class will be offered if your child is sick. Alternatively, the activities that your child has missed may be sent so your child does not fall behind. It is the responsibility of the parents to contact Ready to Read prior to the session.
When a child’s session falls on a public holiday, the session will be made up at the end of the term.
If a cheque is not honoured, Ready to Read reserves the right to add the bank charges on to the terms fees.
If paying by Credit Card, your enrolment will be a subscription (every 3 months). You can unsubscribe at anytime by contacting billing@readytoread.com.au.
No library fee is charged however if books are lost or damaged, families will be required to pay for the cost of replacement. For more advanced readers, additional activity books for the promotion of reading skills may be required. The cost of these books will usually be between $10 and $15
